AROH Foundation is one of the best NGOs I have come across. Their dedication towards the cause is exemplary. The work done by AROH Foundation for my village has given new life to the poor people of my village Singhibahni. There was extreme suffering due to lack of basic amenities in my village. I do not have words to thank them for the excellent work in giving us street lights, water facility and sanitation facilities in Singhibahni.
AROH is doing significant work at grassroots level. A lot many interventions implemented in the area were much in need and progressive simultaneously. Interventions like Solar Street light are serving great purpose to the villagers and simultaneously crossing the constraints of being depended on electricity. Also work done in the schools is really appreciable. School toilets and renovation has rejuvenated the aesthetics and created a better environment for children to learn. As a part of government, I congratulate AROH for being the protagonist of change in the area.
Watch VideoI have known AROH Foundation for nearly two decades. They are doing excellent service to the poor and needy communities. Some of the pioneering programmes being designed and executed by AROH have become role models in CSR domain. It is rare to find a dedicated team of professionals who meet the most daunting challenges at the grassroots with great endurance and perseverance. I wish them luck in all their endeavours.
AROH is doing tremendous job. It’s a very rewarding experience to see you (AROH Foundation) in action and meet your beneficiaries (DDU-GKY, Greater Noida). Keep up the good work and all the very best for a bright future.
India is not only fighting the virus of Covid, but its subsequent socio-psycho-financial impacts too. One of those is of psycho - financial pressure in children due to sudden shoving of Educational systems into Digital mode. Ishita is 12 years old, in Mundka, Delhi and has 2 elder brothers. Ishita’s parents were running a shop, which was hardly was remunerating anything during Covid. And so when they thought of cost cutting, the first thing they considered was Ishita’s education as they could not afford Tablet, Laptop or a separate smart phone for their children. Preference was boys in terms of continuing education. AROH had been running an online fund raising platform to provide digital aid to girls, who are on the verge to be dropped out from their education. AROH helped her with a second hand desktop. She was lucky to be helped.
Watch VideoCovid was not only about the virus. It had its subsequent effect on the people which included job loss, no work for daily wagers. But situation was worse for the women, who were struggling to keep working and maintain their self – reliance. Sheela Chauhan, Sangam Vihar Slums was one of those who was doing tailoring to add some extra bits to her household income and dignity. After Covid lockdown, she was forced to go back to her village as her daily wage husband could not sustain her expense in Delhi. AROH’s mobilizer, who was active in the slums for past many years, knew the family. At Sheela’s request they intervened and counseled her husband and helped Sheela stay in the city, with her husband and also helped her get some work to be sustained.
Watch VideoAROH Foundation is doing amazing community work. I volunteered with AROH Foundation to serve the poor slum community of Dallupura and Trilokpuri. I was very impressed with the professional management of projects and commitment of the organisation towards excellence in all departments. I spent nearly six weeks in community work with AROH and consider these weeks as the best learning in my career. I cherish the experience of volunteering with AROH and look forward to coming back next year.
The energy with RISE AROH kids is so positive every time we are here. We at Oracle, all volunteers look forward to come to RISE centers to meet these enthusiastic and bright children. Apart from this, we also are quite excited to see new handmade gifting, stationary and daily use merchandise that are provided by retail wing Amya from AROH, which are exclusively made by village self-help groups. It’s always a pleasure to be associated with AROH.
Watch VideoI am associated with Team RISE of AROH. It was a real contentment when I saw such deprived children being treated with such passion and compassion at the same time. They have secured top 2 ranks in All India Scholarship Examination and that shows what impact RISE has on the children. Apart from scholastic lookout, RISE is catering to holistic development of these children and we are all open for all possible support we can lend to the project. AROH is one pioneer is education sector and model RISE has created major foot prints in the segment.
